Our site provides a safe and exciting outdoor environment where everydaywilloffer children new opportunities to have fun, to explore, to engage in hands-on learningand to appreciate nature. It is our purpose to provide our children with an extraordinary day camp experience and inspire them to become respectful and responsible stewards of our natural environment.

Providing an extraordinary day camp experience for children 5 (completed JK) to 12 years of age.

 

Our Location

   - 48 acres of beautiful woodlands,

   - Discovery trails,

   - Ponds for canoeing, kayaking, fishing and eco-studies,

   - A large arena for indoor sports, games, creative drama and music,

   - Separate areas for arts and crafts and special projects,

   - A barn and paddock - home to our petting zoo and friendly farm animals !

Located in East Gwillimbury with busing from Richmond Hill, Markham, Aurora, Newmarket, Stouffville and Holland Landing.

 

Our Sessions

We offer 2 week sessions beginning July 4, 18, August 2 and 15, 2011 along with value pricing including exceptional discounts for multiple weeks and families with more than 2 children.

Extended Day and Overnights options are offered biweekly to selected age groups.

COMBO CAMP offers your camper the opportunity to combine a week at Adventure Camp with a week of overnight camp at Hidden Bay Leadership Camp.  Check out the cost and availability of these sessions by speaking to one of our Camp Directors at 905-841-1314.

 

Each day campers will participate in a selection of sports and games, arts and crafts, eco adventure, creative drama, nature nurture and some life skills activities and they will have the opportunity to choose additional activities depending upon their age. 

Our motto at Adventure Camp is CRRC: courtesy, respect, responsibility and confidence. 

Each day will promote a positive character building theme such as cooperation, teamwork, etc. 

Every activity will directly and indirectly encourage campers to take responsibility for their actions and to develop leadership.

 

STAFFING

Counsellors are carefully selected. They are chosen for their experience, skill and enthusiasm for working with children. They have First Aid and CPR training, a clear Police Reference Check and a week of intensive pre-camp training to ensure they are ready to provide your child with a fun, safe and inclusive experience. You will find all our staff are warm and welcoming and willing to understand your child’s needs and interests.   

Our experienced Camp Counsellors, in partnership with Junior Counsellors, will ensure your camper’s day is safe and fun filled. 

Whether it is an individual, small or large group activity, Counsellors will role model and promote the building of character and the development of leadership, with a particular emphasis on respect for others, and taking responsibility for oneself, and the environment.

Hidden Bay Leadership Camp - visit website

This overnight camp for 7 – 15 year olds offers an innovative leadership program in asafe, beautiful environment on Lake Shebeshekong near Parry Sound.
