York Professional Care & Education is delighted to announce that in the Fall of 2011, a full day or part day French language program for children 2 ½ - 5 years of age will be introduced the Children are Unique Children’s Academy.

We bring 25 years of experience and expertise in providing quality early education programs, and for this new program, a mature and experienced RECE Francophone to oversee its delivery.

Research is very clear about the benefits of children learning a second language in their early years, and this new full day French program will provide children with the opportunity to become bilingual, and be better prepared for a French Immersion school experience.

The classroom will be French speaking, but the children will have some exposure to English during playground and lunch times.

It is unusual for a child to not experience success in a French learning environment, but should that occur or you wish to move them for any reason, they can be easily transferred into our English speaking classroom, eliminating any need to move to a different location.
