The Before and After Schools Kids' Clubs

Room Structure:

Our Junior Kindergarten rooms have a 1:15 teacher/child ratio.

Room Schedule:

Two girlsOur Kids’ Club provides a licensed program that meets provincial standards for appropriate staffing, safe routines and quality programs.

We provide a ‘club-like’ atmosphere for children ages 6-10 years that meets in its own separate, safe environment to have fun, work at homework, enjoy projects, make friendships and participate in a variety of activities.

The Program

Together with their leaders, the children plan activities that are fun, exciting and designed to promote feelings of accomplishment, pride and self-esteem.

  • Organized games and projects stimulate teamwork, cooperative problem solving, goal setting and just having fun!
  • Individual choice activities include arts and crafts, putting on puppet shows, listening to appropriate music, completing puzzles, pursuing homework assignments or reading a book.
  • Nutritious snacks are provided.
  • Field trips to local points of interest are offered.
  • Our school-age programs are designed to provide an ideal environment for before and after school and P.A. days.
  • Children are encouraged to become responsible problem solvers.
  • Each child is valued as an individual and as an important part of the group.
  • Children have the opportunity to develop friendships.

A clear emphasis is placed on the importance of being courteous, respectful and responsible. Children are encouraged to develop leadership skills and to practise the Future Aces lifestyle.
