Providing Quality Child Care in Your Home

We offer a variety of training opportunities workshops, and resources to support teachers, families, care providers and the community at large.

"Providing Quality Child Care in Your Home" is a 24 hour training offered free to in-home providers with the Agency, or for a small fee to others in the community.

Family Child Care Training

These classes are designed for caregivers/nannies that are looking after other people’s children in a home environment now, or in the near future. 

Some of the topics discussed are child safety, nutrition, development, child care business and first aid.  This class is offered free to residents in each electoral district of the Region of York.
